The perfect way to discover Western Australia’s capital city: this great 3-hour tour not only showcases the landmarks of central Perth but includes a Swan River drive plus photo stops at Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach and the South Perth Foreshore. Your local host will introduce you to the history, heritage and lifestyle and provide you with key information on transport, dining, shopping and entertainment to make your stay all the more enjoyable.

HINT: If you are hiring a car, this tour is an excellent way to familiarise yourself with the main streets of the Perth CBD and routes to exit the City for the start of your WA road trip

Welcome Aboard

Get to know Perth City

Welcome to WA’s capital city. To start the morning, your tour host will show you East Perth, the CBD and Northbridge: view some of the City’s historic and modern landmarks, shopping locations plus learn some great tips about transport, different dining options and what to do in your free time.

Kings Park – Photo Stop

Time to stretch your legs and follow the path across manicured lawns, past the Whispering Wall and the Flame of Remembrance to the State War Memorial to look out across Perth Water and take in the spectacular City and Swan River views.

Cottesloe Beach – Photo/ Light Refreshment Stop

Arrive Cottesloe Beach: one kilometre of pure white sand , this beach is a long-established, local favourite for swimming, snorkeling and surfing. Whatever the season or weather, you will be captivated by the shoreline and the Indian Ocean views.

Swan River Drive to South Perth Foreshore

Return to Perth via a leisurely drive through the leafy riverside suburbs of Claremont, Dalkeith, Nedlands and Crawley, home of Perth’s oldest university before we cross the Narrows Bridge to the South Perth Foreshore for a magnificent view of the City skyline.

Tour concludes in Perth City Centre

Drop offs at Perth City Hotels OPTION: You can leave the tour in South Perth, enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant/cafe, perhaps visit Perth Zoo and return to by ferry to the CBD (own expense)

How much time is spent at photo stops on the All About Perth & Two Cities tours?

Usually around fifteen minutes at each stop. If you want to return to these locations in your own time, your tour host will give you the best options.

When I book on a half-day or full-day tour,will I get a free pick up and drop off from my accommodation?

Yes, for half-day and full-day tours, we provide free pick ups from most Perth CBD and inner City accommodation. Just advise where you are staying when you book and we will give you a pick time and location. We will also re-confirm the pick time with you 24 hours before the tour departure. If you are not staying in Perth, our central departure point is from the bus bay opposite the Mantra on Murray, 305 Murray Street, Perth, WA 6000
