You will have plenty of time to explore the monastic township of New Norcia on an in-depth, four-hour visit of this truly fascinating and unique destination. Combine this with a leisurely, scenic drive through the beautiful Chittering Valley and you will experience a truly wonderful day out.

New Norcia is a township of magnificent, Spanish-influenced, heritage-listed buildings, olive trees and church bells nestled in a picturesque valley in the heart of the Western Australian bush. Established 1847 by Spanish Benedictine monks as a mission for the Aboriginal people, New Norcia has been a centre of education for indigenous and non-indigenous children and is currently home to an active Benedictine monastic community.
