Perth is WAโ€™s capital city: a bustling business and commercial hub located on the banks of the Swan River with the backdrop of Kings Park and a distinctive high-rise skyline.

Fremantle, located at the mouth of the Swan River, is a much smaller city: a fishing and commercial port, home to the University of Notre Dame and a market city where successive waves of settlers have left their imprint in the architecture of the early colonial, Victorian and Edwardian buildings and their cuisine in the many restaurants serving pizza, fresh pasta and gelatos along the โ€œCappuccino Stripโ€.
