A huge park (104 hectares/1000 acres) located so close to the City Centre  and accessible by the 935 bus, Kings Park is an amazing place for outdoor recreation, events, walks and picnics.  Enjoy sweeping vistas from the many viewpoints across the City, the Swan River, South Perth and, in the distance, the Darling Escarpment.  Stroll through the 66-acre Botanical Gardens packed with unique WA flora, take the Federation Walkway through the Banksia Gardens and the marri treetops to Roe Gardens or climb the double-helix DNA Tower.

New Norcia is a township of magnificent, Spanish-influenced, heritage-listed buildings, olive trees and church bells nestled in a picturesque valley in the heart of the Western Australian bush. Established 1847 by Spanish Benedictine monks as a mission for the Aboriginal people, New Norcia has been a centre of education for indigenous and non-indigenous children and is currently home to an active Benedictine monastic community.
